About ArcticFoam™ Products

Arctic Foam ProductsArcticFoam™ Products are a new spray foam product line of low pressure polyurethane (PU) insulating foam sealants for sealing windows, doors and gaps. This product will be available in hardware stores across Canada for purchase by do it yourself homeowners and professional contractors.

We deliver consistent quality products that comply to a wide range of industry standards. With a wide range of low pressure foam sealants we pride ourselves in having the product line that best meets the various needs of our customers.

What makes ArcticFoam™ Products different than competing spray foams?

ArcticFoam™ is a patented closed-cell and low pressure spray foam. The closed-cell formulation makes foam more resistant to moisture infiltration, therefore increasing the R-value and longevity of insulation. This combination is what makes ArcticFoam one of the best window and door foam sealants on the market.

Foam pressure during and after expansion is the main cause of bowing problems. This low pressure foam (less than 2 psig) will not bow windows and doors like other foams exerting approximately 7-8 psig. ArcticFoam exerts about 85% less pressure than traditional polyurethane foams.

How ArcticFoam Compares to Caulking and Latex Spray Foam?

Caulking – Caulking does not provide adequate insulation and differ greatly in quality. Caulks are limited to the substrates they bond to and in that they often fail for that reason. ArcticFoam adheres to almost all building materials with the exception of surfaces such as polyethylene, Teflon®, silicone, oils and greases, mold release agents, and similar materials. Ensure the area is clean and you are good to go!

Latex Insulating Foam Sealant - Latex foams are normally "open cell" and typically absorb water which causes wood deterioration and rot around frames and drywall where the latex foam has contact. Also, Latex foam does not expand where ArcticFoam™ Products expands to 100% fill cracks and holes.
